the rules
everyone needs rules, their an essential part of life and keep things running very smoothly. there aren't many, and i'll try my best to make them as painless as possible.

number one
no disrespecting the staff, other members, or guests. this is supposed to be a fun environment where we all gather to express our love for role playing, so please don't ruin it. raciest, sexiest, or religious comments will not be tolerated.
number two
no arguing out of character. if your character and someone else's are having an argument, keep it in character. no one likes to see fellow members fight. it reflects badly on the site and the people on it. if there is a disagreement, sort it out privately.
number three
no harrassing other members, and that includes the staff. whether it's because you're not getting a response to a thread, or your application is taking a while to get approved. waiting patiently will get you farther than harrassment.
number four
no godmodeling or powerplaying, unless given permission by the other player. this means your character is not invincible, and you can't control someone else's character. these sorts of things are frowned upon in the rp world. also, don't make your character perfect. everyone has flaws. it's what makes us human.
number five
there is to only be one character per account. your display name should be your character's first, middle, and last name in all lowercase letters. no symbols like an exclamation point, comma, or period. you should have an image for your sig and an avatar. images should not exceed 415 x 500 due to the size of the board. any bigger than that and it will stretch.
number six
each character will be divided into a group, and only one group, obviously. to keep things even, you may only have two characters in the same group. for example, if you already have two watchers, then you can't have a third. if too many people join as a certian group, it will be made temporarily unavailable until things have evened out.
number seven
there is no limit to how many characters you can make, and other than the group thing, there is no limit on how many males or females you have to have. if the site gets heavy on estrogen, however, there will be a temporary ban created.
number eight
pregnancy. it happens, i understand that. but not everyone is going to pregnant at the same time. pregnancy makes an excellent plot twist, and makes things more dramatic, but there are other things that you could always use instead. at the present moment, pregnancies don't have to be approved by an administrator, but if it gets bad, then that may change.
number nine
original chracters only. this site is based off the movie push, yes, but only in concept. i don't want to see a cassie homes or kira hollis. you can always apply concepts from the movie, of course, but nothing that mirrors it in any way. this is supposed to be original and creative.
number ten
once you join, you have three days to post your application. if you don't, your account will be deleted. no exceptions. also, until you app is accepted, you are not allowed to post anywhere else, not even in claims or ooc. once you app is accepted, though, feel free to post wherever you like!
number eleven
the minimum posting length on this site is 750 words. that's not a whole lot, and is roughly three well-sized paragraphs. if you can not post this much normally, then you will not have fun roleplaying on this site.
number twelve
please, please be active. everyone hates it when someone joins a site, then never comes back. we admins get very excited when people join our sites, and then grow disappointed when they never come back again. i don't expect to see you here every day, but reasonable attendance is fair, i believe. if you can't be on for an extended period of time, post your absent note before leaving.
